Jock Clear has made his first official appearance in public with Ferrari, after leaving Mercedes in December 2014, where he was forced on gardening leave until the beginning of the '16 season.
The Briton, who up until his departure was Lewis Hamilton's performance engineer, agreed to join Ferrari more than a year ago. However due to the sensitive nature of Formula 1 and the information Clear may possess, the two teams agreed that the 53-year-old should take a year off before officially beginning work with Ferrari.
He was spotted in Ferrari team gear for the first time at Pirelli's wet weather test at the Paul Ricard circuit on Monday.
Clear will take up a senior engineering position within the team and is likely spending the two-day test getting comfortable with his new surroundings and interacting with drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel.
