Sebastian Vettel scored his first Ferrari podium in Singapore after a dominant display during qualifying on Saturday, marking Ferrari’s return to the top slot in almost three years.
The German’s 1:43.885 was more than half a second quicker than second placed Daniel Ricciardo, who returned Red Bull to the front-row for the first time this season.
Mercedes meanwhile struggled for pace and could only manage fifth and sixth, behind both Ferraris and Red Bulls, and more worrying for the team is the gap, almost 1.5 seconds adrift.
The Williams of Valtteri Bottas lines up seventh ahead of Max Verstappen, Felipe Massa and Romain Grosjean.
