The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will play host to pre-season testing for the 2016 season, with F1 bosses agreeing to drop Jerez from the roster.
The number of tests has also been reduced from three four-day tests to just two, both of which will be held in March at the home of the Spanish Grand Prix.
The opening test will be held between March 1st and 4th, whilst the second test will commence on March 15th, ending on the 18th, a month later than the second test of 2015.
This is due to the condensed 2016 calendar which kicks off in Australia which has a provisional date of April 3rd, compared to March 15th this year.
