Will Stevens will not start the Malaysian Grand Prix due to an ongoing fuel system issue which also stopped him from taking part in qualifying.
Despite his failure to qualify, the British driver was cleared to race by the FIA because he’d completed a time within 107 per cent during Friday practice.
However Stevens won’t be on the starting grid according to the Manor F1 Team.
“Sadly Will is unable to start today’s race as we have not been able to get on top of the fuel system problem from yesterday,” they confirmed on Sunday morning.
