Michael Schumacher’s condition remains “stable” according to his manager Sabine Kehm, who updated the media on the seven-time champion’s health for the first time in several days.
The German hit his head whilst skiing in the French Alps on December 29th and has remained in an induced coma to aid his recovery ever since.
Kehm dismissed ‘speculative media reports’ which gave a grim outlook on the 45-year-old’s health and insists fans only pay attention to official press releases.
“Unfortunately I have to repeat that any information regarding Michael’s health not coming from the doctors treating him or from his management must be treated as pure speculation,” she said.
“I also repeat that Michael’s family is very happy and confident with the work of the team of doctors treating Michael, and they trust them completely.
“Michael’s condition is still considered as stable.”
