Felipe Massa and Pastor Maldonado will both get a new chassis for the Canadian Grand Prix following heavy crashes in Monaco.
The Ferrari driver suffered two almost identical accidents during the race weekend – the first of which ruled him out of qualifying and was put down to driver error.
The second was however caused by a suspension problem according to the team. The second incident damaged the Ferrari’s chassis beyond safe repair.
Maldonado will also get a new chassis after he too suffered a crash on Sunday after he and Marussia’s Max Chilton came together at Tabac. The incident caused a red flag which brought the race to a halt for 30-minutes whilst his car was removed and the barrier repaired.
