Former F1 driver Damon Hill believes Kimi Raikkonen has a few more titles left in him, despite his recent absence from the sport.
Raikkonen will make his comeback with the Lotus-Renault outfit this coming season having retired from the sport in 2009, after securing the title in 2007 with Ferrari.
Hill, who won the title with Williams in 1996, reckons the Finn’s return to Formula 1 is good for the sport.
“It is great – and good luck to him,” the 51-year-old told Autosport. “He is going to have to show that he has still got it, which he has got a good team to show that in, and he is still young.”
Hill made his debut when he was 32-years-old, the age Raikkonen is now, so the Brit doesn’t believe age will be a problem.
“He has won a world championship already, and I had only just got into F1 at his age, so he has definitely got a couple of more world championships in him,” concluded Hill.
