A minute’s silence will be held for Dan Wheldon and Marco Simoncelli before the Indian Grand Prix.
The FIA’s Charlie Whiting, the drivers and teams have agreed to mark the deaths of British IndyCar driver Wheldon who died two weeks ago today, and MotoGP rider Simoncelli, who passed away a week ago today, with a minute’s silence at 2:45pm IST (9:15am GMT), 15 minutes before the start of the race.
