The official Formula 1 party held at London’s Natural History Museum on Wednesday raised over £600,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
The event, sponsored by Santander, drew many famous faces including Bernie Ecclestone, his daughter Tamara, Oliver Phelps, Sara Cox and Vernon Key.
Several F1 personalities also attended, among them were Christian Horner, Tony Fernandes, Heikki Kovalainen and Vitantonio Liuzzi.
Ecclestone praised the event and the F1 community for raising such a gracious amount to improve the lives of hundreds of children.
“I am delighted to be able again to bring the F1 community together to help such a great cause,” he told the official F1 website.
“Formula One and Great Ormond Street Hospital have forged a unique and successful relationship drawing support from across the F1 community to improve the lives of children being treated at the hospital.”
